We are conveniently located inside the Pharr Medical Complex on West Sam Houston Boulevard. Just a few minutes from Business 83 and a short drive from McAllen, San Juan and Alamo. If transportation is an issue, we also have Home Draw services.

Common Questions
Do I need a doctor's order to get lab work done in Pharr?
No. You can walk into Surepointe Lab in Pharr and order your own testing. No doctor's order and no referral are needed. If you do have an order from your provider, bring it with you and we will run exactly what it asks for.
Do you take my insurance, or can I pay myself?
We accept most insurances, and we also have a self-pay option if you would rather not use your plan. Coverage is different for every plan and every test, so call us with your insurance information and we will help you check what applies before you come in.
Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome during our regular hours. We are open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. Coming in early in the day is a good idea if your test asks you to fast.
Where is Surepointe Lab located?
We are at 1002 W Sam Houston Blvd, Suite 9, in Pharr, Texas, inside the Pharr Medical Complex. Patients also come to us from McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Weslaco, San Juan, Alamo and Donna, all a short drive along the US-83 corridor.
Can someone draw my blood at home?
Yes. We offer Home Draws for patients who cannot make it to the lab. Call us to ask about setting one up and we will walk you through how it works.
How much does testing cost?
Pricing depends on which tests you need and whether you are using insurance or paying yourself. Call us with the tests you are looking for and we will give you the pricing before you commit to anything.
