Why This Lab Exists

Getting a blood test used to mean three separate errands. Book an appointment so someone can write an order. Take the order somewhere else to have blood drawn. Wait, then go back to hear what it said.

Surepointe Lab opened in Pharr in May 2013 to remove the first of those steps. You do not need a doctor’s order here and you do not need a referral. You decide what you want tested, you walk in, and we run it.

That has not changed since. Same building on West Sam Houston Boulevard, same way of working, more than a decade on.

How We Work

Walk In, Ask, Done

There is no appointment book. We are open six days a week and you come when the day works for you. If you already have an order from a provider, bring it and we will run exactly what it asks for.

We accept most insurances and we also have a self-pay option. Coverage differs by plan and by test, so call us first and we will help you check before you come in. If getting to the lab is the hard part, ask about a Home Draw and we will come to you.
