A Straight Run East on Expressway 83
Expressway 83 is the spine of the valley, and it connects McAllen to us without a single complicated turn.
Coming from central McAllen
If you are anywhere near North 10th Street or Nolana Avenue, get yourself onto Expressway 83 and head east. Come off toward Pharr and we are on West Sam Houston Boulevard, inside the Pharr Medical Complex, Suite 9.
Landmarks along the way
If La Plaza Mall is your reference point, you are already on the right side of town for the drive. Coming in from McAllen Miller International Airport, the same expressway takes you straight to us.

McAllen, Pharr, Edinburg, Mission, San Juan, Alamo, Donna and Weslaco all sit along the same corridor. Wherever you are in Hidalgo County, the route is the same road.

Do you serve McAllen?
Yes. Plenty of our patients drive over from McAllen. Our lab is in Pharr at 1002 W Sam Houston Blvd, Suite 9, inside the Pharr Medical Complex, which is a short run east along Expressway 83 from anywhere in McAllen.
Do I need a doctor's order if I am coming from McAllen?
No. You can order your own testing regardless of which city you are driving in from. No doctor's order and no referral are needed. If you already have an order from a McAllen provider, bring it and we will run exactly what it asks for.
Can you come to my house in McAllen for the blood draw?
Yes. We offer Home Draws for patients who cannot make it to the lab. Call us at (956) 586-6463 to ask about setting one up and we will walk you through how it works.
Do I need an appointment, or can I just drive over?
Walk-ins are welcome during our hours — Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. If your test asks you to fast, coming early in the day makes that easier.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most insurances, and we also have a self-pay option. Coverage differs by plan and by test, so call us with your insurance information before you drive over and we will help you check what applies.
