A County Seat Problem
Plenty of Medicine, Still a Queue
Edinburg is the county seat and it has the healthcare footprint to match — a university campus, a major hospital system, clinics on every other block. None of that helps when all you want is one blood test this week.
The bottleneck is rarely the lab. It is the appointment you need first, with someone who will write the order. We took that step out: you decide what to run, you drive down, we run it.
Same building in Pharr, same way of doing it, since 2013.

Straight Down 281
US-281 links Edinburg to Pharr without a single complicated turn, and it drops you within reach of us.
Coming from central Edinburg
Pick up US-281 and head south. Where it meets the Expressway 83 corridor you are effectively at our door — we are on West Sam Houston Boulevard, inside the Pharr Medical Complex, Suite 9.
If you are near the university
Coming off the UTRGV Edinburg campus, 281 south is the same road. Students and staff order their own testing here without going through campus health first.
Already in the medical district
If Doctors Hospital at Renaissance is your landmark, you are on the right side of Edinburg for the run south. Bring any order you were given and we will follow it exactly.
Or skip the drive
Ask about a Home Draw and we will come to you in Edinburg instead. Call and we will explain how it works.
1002 W Sam Houston Blvd, Suite 9, Pharr, TX 78577 — inside the Pharr Medical Complex.
Why Edinburg Chooses Us
No Appointment to Get an Appointment
Edinburg has more medical infrastructure than most of the valley. Our Edinburg patients tell us they came for something none of it offers.
Skip the referral loop
You do not need a provider to authorise a blood test. Ask for a CMP, an A1C, a thyroid panel — we run it and you take the numbers to whoever you like in Edinburg.
Come when you can
Six days a week, walk-in. No slot to wait for. If you are driving down after class or between shifts, we are open.
Pay how you want
Most insurances accepted plus a self-pay option. Call before you drive down and we will check your coverage first.
Good to Know
Questions from Edinburg
Do you serve Edinburg?
Yes. A lot of our patients drive down from Edinburg. Our lab is in Pharr at 1002 W Sam Houston Blvd, Suite 9, inside the Pharr Medical Complex, which is a straight run south on US-281.
Do I need a doctor's order if I am coming from Edinburg?
No. You can order your own testing no matter which city you are driving in from. No doctor's order and no referral are needed. If an Edinburg provider already gave you an order, bring it and we will run exactly what it asks for.
Can you come to my house in Edinburg?
Yes. We offer Home Draws for patients who cannot make it to the lab. Call us at (956) 586-6463 and we will walk you through how to set one up.
What is the easiest route from Edinburg?
Take US-281 south until it meets the Expressway 83 corridor, then come toward Pharr. We are on West Sam Houston Boulevard inside the Pharr Medical Complex, Suite 9. Call if you want directions from where you are starting.
I am a student — can I test without going through campus health first?
Yes. Nothing about ordering your own blood work requires a campus referral or a student health visit. Walk in, name the panel, and take the numbers wherever you need them afterwards.
Is it busy first thing?
Weekday mornings from 7 AM are our steadiest stretch, partly because fasting tests push people early. If you are coming down 281 before work, allow a little room.
My provider is in Edinburg — can I still use my own results?
Yes. The results are yours. Plenty of patients test here and take the numbers straight back to an Edinburg clinic or specialist for the conversation.
